We need to evaluate what we do in education to know if it's working, why it's working (or not working), and how to make it better. Without evaluation, we're just guessing—we're "teaching into the void" and hoping for the best.

Evaluation is the compass that tells us if we are heading in the right direction. It makes us accountable and guides our decisions on everything from funding to curriculum.
