Inquiry-based learning
Inquiry-based learning is learning that is based on questioning at different levels of learning. The learning goes into chucks enabling learners to focus their learning. The learner is required to inquire or ask questions on each level. Questions using (how/ why/ when/ where/ what).
The more challenging these levels become, The more complicated the questions or the inquiries of the learners. The questions get more complicated and need more details and thinking.
The importance of this method lies in that it helps learners to be more engaged, more focused on the material (each chunk), and more critical of their learning.
This method evokes learners' curiosity to expand their knowledge and learn more details. It also boots learners' higher levels of thinking and metacognitive thinking.
