e-Learning Ecologies MOOC’s Updates
learning no stop
People used to teach in classes, and attempts to get out of this pattern were shy, but after the Corona pandemic, the urgent need for non-traditional learning patterns emerged through which the learning process can continue, and therefore many countries have adopted e-learning patterns (distance) to continue educating students and ensure their acquisition of knowledge
In my country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Education has created a platform for education in which students meet with their teachers in a synchronous manner through the Times program or in an asynchronous manner through the platform and video clips prepared for lessons, and through the same platform they perform their meals and follow up on their progress in academic subjects
This transformation helped the students to acquire new habits and showed them that education does not depend on being in the classroom only, and learning can be done through media or websites, which supports the idea of the possibility of education anywhere and at any time.
Thanks for the update. In my school, an online learning platform was used effectively during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, but we seem to have gone back to our old ways. I really love the affordances of e-learning and hope my institution can continue to make the infrastructure available. As we speak, many students are not enrolled on the platform so online teaching cannot be effective. Sometimes, the challenge is structural/institutional.
The emergence of coronavirus pandemic actually propels many countries to a paradigm shift of application of new technologies in education. A shift from traditional classroom learning.
