Binet's Intelligence Test

Binet's Intelligence test is designed to measure a child's developmental progress compared to typical children of different ages. (Wikipedia) 

Getting the IQ is done by dividing the child's mental age by their chronological age then multiply it by 100. In this test, it includes a word of a text then omitted and the subject is asked to replace it. 

For example: The weather is clear, the sky is (1) _______ blue.

Strengths: It helps to identify children who needs special education support. It also includes verbal and non-verbal components, that makes it adaptable with people from varied language backgrounds. 

Weakness: Include cultural and socioeconomic biases which can affect the performance, it may favor children familiar with certain linguistic or educational experiences. It also does not capture the child's creativity or the non-cognitive factors. (newlearningonline)
