Based on what Socrates meant and implementing it nowadays we can see that we grow of become more powerful by the type of criticism we receive.

Crowdsourcing is the practice of engaging a ‘crowd’ or group for a common goal — often innovation, problem solving, or efficiency. I4t is powered by new technologies, social media and web 2.0. Crowdsourcing can take place on many different levels and across various industries. Thanks to our growing connectivity, it is now easier than ever for individuals to collectively contribute — whether with ideas, time, expertise, or funds — to a project or cause. This collective mobilization is crowdsourcing.

But what is a crowd

Building a sense of community can bring projects and ideas together. Students have used Social Media to turn into Social Productivity because they have become collaborative by offering an immense opportunity to rethink and reinvent conventional processes. That is why everyone is so up to date with social media. Now students are no longer trying to make an impact in the traditional classroom rather, they are trying to make an impact in the world, in their environment. The motivation that they have helps them become better and improve, because now they are waiting for that feedback. Now the evolution of this learning environment as the formative and summative assessments. While building these environment we are following the Socrates method by letting our students learn through social practice. Every piece of motivation wants to reach levels that are rewarded, they want their work to be acknowledge and they want to put their best thoughts out there. This can fuel successful learners.

In conclusion, I believe that promoting these type of learning in the classroom environment, students will try to make better and useful feedback. They like to be heard and nowadays that this idea is not reprehended so much drive them to be more collaborative.
