when a number of student’s senses visual, auditory, kinaesthetic are being engaged during learning, they can  understand and remember more .So Students need to use multimodal learning to enhance their learning and skills. Multimodal learning is very helpful for the students because it matches their individual differences and different learning styles. Since there are four different learning styles which are auditory , Kinaesthetic , writing /reading and visual , the teacher Sometimes can’t prepare her lesson to be appropriate for all these different learning styles. Video learning can be very helpful for all students especially who are learning English because They can pause the video and rewatch it again.

For me as an ESL teacher I need to improve my teaching methods and skills,so I am learning from a variety of websites where I can watch some videos to learn more about new approaches for teaching ESL students

I’m teaching different grades from  primary, intermediate to secondary . I always encourage my students to watch videos to learn English better.The The video will be used for the students must have the following: lots of visuals that illustrate what is being said , clear pronunciation, spoken not too fast ,lots of language repetition and good picture and sound quality.

During my classes I always use videos for my students as a warmup activity or during the class or at the end  for feedback . Using videos for them is very important because Videos engage students of all ages and abilities , motivate with authentic content , provide context to help understanding , expose students to a variety of language and cultures and introduce culture and new ideas. 

Young learners prefer to watch videos for songs.I found that it helps them to memorise the song faster , because they enjoy the music and the movement they see on the video.For adult learners I usually provide them with some educational videos for learning new vocabulary or grammar.
