Conceptual learning
A concept is an abstract idea of the meaning to which a term refers, which is distinguished by a set of related common characteristics from other words.
Concepts are taught according to this model according to the following steps:
• Analyzing the content of the educational material and identifying the concepts to be taught.
• Informing students of the educational objectives of each lesson before carrying out the teaching process.
• Provide a definition of the concept that includes the name of the concept and its critical characteristics.
Present a sufficient set of examples and non-examples of the concept
• Presenting the questioning training, which includes presenting examples and new examples of the concept in random order and in a way that asks the students to classify them into what is an example that belongs to the concept and what is not an example of the concept.
• Provide appropriate reinforcement and feedback immediately after the issuance of the response.

1 Attract the attention of learners Attracting the attention of students is one of the ways the teacher communicates information in the classroom, as it motivates students to learn
2 Describe the objectives The description of the objectives is one of the basics of educational design. After completing the introduction, describing the knowledge or skills that the learner will acquire after completing his study of the lesson, this allows students to identify the information framework
3 Recall previous information Remind students of their previous knowledge related to the topic of the lesson (facts, laws, procedures, skills). Show them how knowledge relates to each other, provide them with a framework that helps them learn and remember
4 Show the material that can be extracted
5 Provide guidance for the learner Help the learner to memorize information for long-term storage. Provide additional guidance in addition to introducing new content.
6 Stimulate the learner's performance Provide educational applications after each concept Allow a student to do something related to the good behaviors he learned, or to apply the good knowledge he has acquired
7 Provide useful feedback Show the validity of the learner's response to the exercises, analyze his behavior, and use the method of problem-solving step by step.
8 Evaluate performance by testing: After completing the lesson, give the learner general information about his level of progress.
9 Reinforce retention and transfer of information At the end allow the student to review the lesson Show the student a summary of what he has learned, and similar problems that he might encounter.
