Abstract

El personaje de Wanda Maximoff pertenece al universo creado por la franquicia de Marvel. Este personaje comienza siendo un experimento en un laboratorio. A lo largo de su historia sufre una evolución hasta convertirse en la poderosa Bruja Escarlata. Además, la conexión que tiene con su hermano Pietro y con el Androide Visión añaden muchas capas a su narrativa. El objetivo de este trabajo será analizar las capas que hacen compleja la narrativa generada en torno a este personaje como ejemplo de una reescritura feminista del arquetipo de la bruja. Para ello se partirá de las premisas establecidas por Federici y otros autores para analizar a este personaje y el papel del duelo en Bruja Escarlata y Visión. [Wanda Maximoff’s character belongs to the universe created by the Marvel franchise. This character begins as an experiment in a laboratory. Throughout her story, she evolves into the powerful Scarlet Witch. In addition, the connection she has with her brother Pietro and the android Vision adds many layers to this narrative. The aim of this work is to analyze the complex narrative layers that are generated around this character as an example of a feminist rewriting of the witch’s archetype. The article begins with the premises established by Federici and other authors to analyze this character and the role of grief in WandaVision.]
