I am very excited to be a part of this course, and I am from the still very hot Dallas, TX!

My background is in teaching online higher education and in instructional design, and I am inspired by the works of Gunther Kress and others regarding multimodality and new media principles of learning and design.

This is my second course with the professors--the first being Learning Ecologies--and the videos and readings are highly informative and really get one to re-question and reconsider what most of us think, generally perceive, and/or have been taught. I hope you all enjoy the course as much as I know that I will!
