Positive Reinforcement

Concept: Positive Reinforcement – encouraging a behavior by giving a reward after it occurs.

Example: When my Taiwanese students correctly answer my questions or participate in class, I praise them or give points/stickers. This motivates them to keep practicing and participating.

Intelligence Test Example: The WISC assesses skills like verbal reasoning, memory, and problem-solving. It helps identify areas where students may need extra support, but it cannot measure creativity, effort, or social-emotional growth.
