Today's educational system is highly complex. There is no single learning approach that works for everyone.That's why psychologist working in the field of education are focused on identifying learning methods to better understand how people absorb and retain information.Educational psychologist apply theories of human development to understand individual learning and inform the instructional process. while interaction with teachers and students in school setting imporatnt part of thier work,it isnt the only facet of the job.Learning is a lifelong endeavor. People dont only learn at school, they learn from work, in social situations and even doing simple task in life. It also works with educators, administrators, teachers and students to analyze how to help people learn best. This often involves finding ways to identify student who may need extra help, developing programs for students who are struggling and even creating new learning methods.

Simply put , this means that out thoughts determine our feelings and bheavior. All of these cognitive elements can directly impact how students learn in a classroom setting. If a student believes they arent good at math that it doesnt come naturally to them for some reason, that they are dumb and wont understand. they are likely to feel frustration and anger during math lesson and perform poorly. The cognitive behavioral theory is closely connected to social cognitive theory identifies how external foces and internal forces your thoughts impact your learning.There are any types of cognitive learning theory and a wide variety of strategiesto utilize help and maximize student achievement, it includes, Asking question,have opportunities to make errors,fostering self reflection/self questioning and thinking aloud. all these strategies can b crucial in helping students improve their writing skills, analytic skills,comprehension,retention,self regulation and more.

By understanding how children think at different stages of development, educational psychologist can be better understand that children are capable of at each point of thier growth. This can help educators create instructional methods and materials aimed at certain age groups.
