Watson behaviorism theory
Definition: The animals and humans can learn the same way by behavior data. He excluded mental state which is a pure behaviorism. The finest example is the Little Albert Experiment, in which he showed many furry real animals such as: a dog, monkey, rabit, even a rat. Then introduce a stimuli which was a sound, after that we re-showed the furry animals, but he started noticing little Albert started to cry. He started to associate the sound with something scary, in this case the animals. So, he show that you can learn by a stimuli present for a given answer, in this case fear. For example, if I want to give a good experience I can associate smell with time of reading.
Animal and human learn the same way. Watson clearly denied to the concept of internal or genetical learning. He states that learning is done through observation.Whatever we observe we learn from our external environment.Eg if alarm rings it is sign of some problem like fire etc. So when alarm rings we realise that there is some danger so they have to be cautious. This we have learned from observing our surroundings.
