As a teacher, learning about didactic, authentic, and transformative learning has given me a much deeper understanding of my role. In the Didactic learning this reminded me that students still need clear guidance and structured lessons, especially when building essential skills. While in the Authentic learning this one helped me see the value of creating activities that feel real and meaningful, allowing my students to connect their learning to their everyday lives. And lastly, the Transformative learning was the most powerful for me, as it showed how teaching can change perspectives and inspire personal growth. Altogether, these approaches encouraged me to be more intentional, creative, and reflective in the way I support my students’ learning.
