Studying the different dimensions of pedagogy made me reflect on how complex and meaningful teaching truly is. I realized that pedagogy is not just about delivering lessons it is shaped by space, communication, culture, and the relationships between teachers and learners. Learning about didactic, authentic, and transformative approaches helped me understand how each method affects student engagement and the way knowledge is constructed.

As an international teacher now, I gained a lot of learning from this topic because it allowed me to broaden my understanding of how diverse learners experience education. Becoming more aware of power dynamics and socio-cultural factors also reminded me that students’ backgrounds influence their confidence, participation, and expression. This motivates me to be more mindful and inclusive in designing learning environments that empower students to question, explore, and find their own voices.
