Dear Clown Fishers -

Firstly, thank you so much again for the great discussion today and for all your work and thoughts.

Secondly, apologies (again!) for the lack of clarity at the end of the session re the upcoming assignment. It was an unfortunate confluence of events that Reda - the man with the answers - was unable to join because of IT issues.

To follow up, requested clarifications are:

1. REQUIRED TASKS - You are, indeed, being asked to develop the following:

a) An Executive Summary (MAX 2 pages - If you can do it shorter, following the instructions provided, awesome)

b) Recommendations and Related Explanations (MAX 2 pages - This will mean hard choices and, if you can do it shorter, great. If not, stick with the max).

c) Dissemination Plan (MAX 1 page - This is a VERY light version; the goal is just to think through what variations would be needed for different audiences. Shouldn't take longer than 15-30 mins of time)

Note - Maximums are repeated in the assignment instructions and the rubric.

2. CONFLICTING INFORMATION RE ASSIGNMENT LENGTH

The lengths Issy discussed in her videos were for the Bersive 1 RGA and what she managed to do there. They were not assignment instructions.

3. INSTRUCTIONS AND LAUNCH OF CREATOR PROJECT
 

You will receive an email tomorrow (June 29) to launch the Creator project. This will include:
a) A reiteration of assignment instructions, including MAX lengths

b) The short and long versions of the Peer Review Rubric (which also contains tips for what to include in your assignments)

c) Templates and sample materials including sample recommendations and summaries

4. TEMPLATES, INSTRUCTIONS, AND MATERIALS FOR CREATOR PROJECT

It turns out that all the required templates, instructions, and materials were in the Week 5 materials tab for the discussion group.

I wasn't aware of this given I stepped in last minute to cover given Reda's IT problems and, therefore, apologize that this made the instruction part of the discussion more confusing than it needed to be.
