Food Studies’s Updates
New Paperback Released! - Party Food: A Partisan History of Food & Farming in America
Food writers commonly exhort their readers to “vote with their fork” in support of a progressive food policy agenda. However real voting involves supporting political parties, and most people do not know the political history of food. This book examines Democratic and Republican approaches to food policy in the spirit of helping the foodies and farmers see where things stand.
