In recent years, I’ve noticed big changes in education, especially as a foreign English teacher in a Taiwanese cram school. Students today face more pressure, so teaching is no longer only about giving lessons but also about understanding their emotional needs. When I first started, I focused mainly on grammar and test preparation, but I realized students learned better when I made lessons more interactive and clear. Because of this, I now use step-by-step instruction and activities that connect to their interests. These changes have shown me that effective education depends not only on what we teach, but how we support and engage our students.
