Approaches in Teaching-learning During Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic significantly transformed teaching and learning approaches worldwide. Here are some key strategies that were adopted: Online Learning Platforms: Schools and universities rapidly shifted to online platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom to continue education remotely. This transition required both teachers and students to adapt to new technologies and methods of interaction. Blended Learning: Combining online and offline methods, blended learning became a popular approach. This method allowed for flexibility, catering to students’ diverse needs and schedules. Asynchronous Learning: To accommodate different time zones and personal schedules, many institutions adopted asynchronous learning. This approach allowed students to access recorded lectures and materials at their convenience.Interactive Tools and Resources: Educators used various digital tools to make learning more interactive and engaging. Tools like Kahoot!, Padlet, and interactive whiteboards helped maintain student engagement and participation. Project-Based and Inquiry-Based Learning: These approaches encouraged students to explore topics deeply and work on projects that could be completed independently or in virtual groups.
