Heading forward, ‘Sulong EduKalidad’ will be the battlecry of the Department of Education (DepEd)  its reforms to achieve quality in basic education. The right of every Filipino to quality basic education is further emphasized in Republic Act 9155 or the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001. Filipinos have a deep regard for education, our parents instilled in our minds that education is important for us to achieve our dreams and aspirations in our lives. Access to quality basic education is a significant step for the government in ensuring brighter future for every Filipinos. 

As part of the Department of Education family, I wish  they continue teachers' upskilling and reskilling by providing  beneficial trainings and seminars that address the specific needs of time. Implement effective monitoring of all policies and program of the department in all parts of the country and try to have dialogues to all teachers since we are the ones who is in front in implementing the program. Provide additional instructional allowance so that we can innovate our own instructional materials especially that we are now embracing the use of technology in delivering our lesson.
