In-Person conference participantes are welcomed to join us for a 2 and a half hour walking tour of Copenhagen with a knowledgeable guide visiting:
"Your tour guide will take you to the Danish capital's most iconic landmarks and monuments, keeping you entertained and informed with their explanations and fun facts. Head to Nyhavn, the 17th-century waterfront district characterised by its brightly-coloured houses, to admire the historic architecture and the traditional wooden boats harboured there. From there, you can enjoy a 20-minute stroll along the promenade to the statue of the Little Mermaid of Copenhagen, one of the city's most recognisable symbols.
Not far from the Mermaid, you'll find Kastellet, or "The Citadel", one of the best-preserved fortresses in Northern Europe, constructed in the shape of a star. See the windmill inside the bastion, used to grind flour to provide food in case of a siege."
