PROJECTS TO MY CREDIT: Research Experience

  1. Successfully completed a project for Global Network for Women’s and Children’s Health Research on “WHO Integrated Management of Pregnancy and Childbirth: Essential Newborn Care” in the capacity of Community Coordinator.
  2. Also completed a project on “Neonatal care in developing Countries” for Global Network for Women’s and Children’s Health Research under the auspices of National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, USA.
  3. International Classification of Death (ICD) Coder of Million Death Study (MDS)– World’s largest study on premature mortality by Centre for Global Health Research, Canada.
  4. Under the banner of District Health Action Plan have contributed to various Health Action Plans for the year 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2013 till now.
  5. Also was a part of various projects hosted and conducted by District Health and Family Welfare Office Belagavi.

  1. I have trained all cadres of the health providers in the department under various National Health Programs hosted as a part of departmental responsibility.
  2. I have also trained more than 35 dais, 15 unqualified Medical Practitioners and 6 Health Workers for Neonatal Care.
  3. I was TOT for IMNCI and successfully trained all cadre H&FW staff of Belagavi district.
  4. Conducted a Workshop on Service Implementation Plan under KHSDRP 2007-08.
  5. Workshops and training for various health programmes hosted and conducted as a part of departmental activity District Health and Family Welfare Office Belagavi.
  6. Successfully completed Career Oriented Multi Skill Based Training Programme for 24 Batches for the entire Medical and Paramedical cadre of health department.
