  I just finished my first year as a PhD student in Music Education. For seven years I was the band director for the Elmwood public schools in Elmwood, Il. I am happily married to my wife, Denise. Together we have a 6 year old son, Noah, who is getting ready to start the first grade in August of 2019. Outside of being a student I am an avid video game collector, reader, and foodie.
