I am currently a reading interventionist/science teacher for DC Public Schools. I attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where I studied history and political science. After graduation, I planned on pursuing a graduate degree in museum studies yet chose to take a gap year and completed a year of service with City Year and AmeriCorps where I had a change in my career. I have been a teacher for six years and am interested in combining my passion for history, politics, and education together!
