An attempt to reconstruct the history of Chafe town from the widely accepted mythology. It is geared towards providing and explaining the historicaal trends in the establishment of the town after Usman Danfodiyo jihad movements in Hausaland. It provides a counter to the attempts by some sources in refering to the town as an ancient settlement.
