Since computers influence and are influenced by and by society, the modeling of technology implementation as well as the regulation of it provide a better understanding of the phenomenon in order to create safer technology and better adapted to the application environment. The agent models are revealed as very useful for modeling these interactions.

Modeling and knowledge management constitute paradigms to represent and store information, their relationships as well as the associated semantics. They allow the storage as well as the inference of new knowledge from the model.

Modeling in archeology.

The simulation and modeling applied to archaeological research constitute a field in which information technologies are key to the interpretation of the past. Given the current complexity of the models and the amount of information obtained from them, the analysis of large volumes of information (Big Data) constitutes the spearhead in this field. Modeling in archeology uses similar disciplines such as agent modeling, conceptual modeling, statistics and supercomputing
