Cloud Computing

For me, cloud computing has been the most effective means of collaborating and sharing learning experiences with my colleagues and students. It has tremendously reduced the workload of storing content on my own devise and the time spent sharing documents separately with correspondants. As I work with a  team of trainers who design need based workshops and short courses, by using cloud computing we have started sharing our training material. This has also promoted a culture of collaboration and team work, whereas previously we used to hold on to our expertise now we leave it for others to use and learn from and simultaneously we learn from each other. Blended learning, collaboration, and a PLC are naturally integrated into cloud computing. It gives me the provision of storing and sharing the content of training sessions which I can revisit and edit any time I want to and on which I and my co-trainers work simultaneously from our home whenever we are free.

During the training sessions the candidates work in groups on the ducuments shared in the google drive and later present it to the whole group. They can later revisit their assignments from their homes and work places. This ensures continuous learning and extending their own learning. Cloud sharing has made it easier to review, comment and share my feedback with candidates attending my training.

Saving large content and revisiting it or sharing it with a wider community has been made easier and possible through cloud sharing.
