  I am a lecturer in Psychology, Cultural Studies and Visual Research Methods at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland. Research Interests are in the negotiation of national and cultural identity though family photgraphs and also through stories and narrative. Also interested in social semiotics and actor network theory. Currently investigating a street in Inverness using social ecological resilience models which reject a positivist account of resilience bouncback as measure.
