Nepal Red Cross Society, where I had started my professional career as a Community Trainer of Community Based Disaster Preparedness (CBDP) Program, provided me the opportunities to be familiar with Humanitarian Preparedness at different lairs ( Community, Village Development Committee, Municipalities, Districts, and Regions) Humanitarian Working environment of Red Cross, Oxfam in Nepal, Hope for Himalayan Kids Australia/Nepal, Certificate of Advanced Studies on Disaster Risk Reduction Course from EPFL University, Switzerland provided me the wider platform for the Humanitarian Preparedness and Response activities. These organizations and positions better provided different skills development opportunities through First Aid, Simulation, Search & Rescue, Dead Body Management, Mass Casualty Management and capacity building training focused on Humanitarian Preparedness & Response, becomes the foundation on my professional career. Apart from these capacity building jobs, I am actively involved in Capacity Building of local NGOs and management of local Partners in Nepal.
