Leadership Strategy
Peter Steane is an ordained priest and Professor at Australian Catholic University, and Emeritus Professor at Macquarie University. He has experience in management, ministry and consulting in a range of Fortune 500 and not-for-profit organisations in the Asia Pacific. His focal area relates to facilitating better strategic direction, leadership formation and cross-cultural ethical frameworks. He has taught in 12 MBA programs around the world and helped establish 4 doctoral programs in Australasia.
Peter’s recent research efforts relate to strategy and effectiveness for leaders in hospitals and schools, and in building research leadership capacity in Asian education universities. He is the Asia Pacific Editor of Public Management Review, and Editor in Chief of Asia Pacific Journal of Business Administration.
His current book project is Picasso’s Code: the Art of Strategy, and other books include: Leadership Formation: History of Mysticism, Surviving Your Thesis, Australian Case Studies in Strategic Management, and Learning from International Public Management Reform, as well as over 100 scholarly and professional publications.
