Hi everyone,

My name is Lena Stashko and I am currently a master's student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health studying Global Disease Epidemiology and Control in the Department of International Health. I have studied vaccines through the Vaccine Science and Policy Certificate in my degree program. Previously, I interned at the Sabin Vaccine Institute with the Sustainable Immunization Financing program. I have also worked with Native American communities on a maternal immunization study. Currently, I am starting an internship at the WHO working with the Global Immunizaiton, Monitoring & Surveillance Group to analyze denominators used to calculate vaccination coverage estimates. I am looking forward to participating in this class with my peers to complement the work I will be doing this fall at the WHO.
