In the context of Kirkuk, ongoing fighting, violence and high number of IDPS, it is critical that we understand we understand the different impact the crisis has on different women, men, girls and boys, as well as their different vulnerability, coping mechanism.

Access to WASH services that responds to the different needs of the different women, men, girls and boys, including those with disabilities and from minority ethnic groups, as well safety concerns becomes crucial to address. It is also important to be able to provide evidence on which groups are the most vulnerable groups and therefore needs a specific targeted action.
