  Yasir Arfat was born in Hafizabad, Punjab, Pakistan in 1981. He received the LLB and LLM degrees from Punjab University and International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan respectively in 2008 and 2013. He started his profession as an advocate and joined Meer and Hassan Law Firm in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Thereafter, he found massive interest in teaching and research so he joined School of Law, University of Gujrat as a Lecturer in 2015. Now, he is a permanent faculty member of law department and also member of Departmental Research and Review Committee and also chairman of SAR Committee for LLM and such other position etc. His main area of research interest are constitutional laws, corporate laws and Intellectual Property Laws etc.
