  • Income Security for the Elderly in Zambia in the New Dawn what next?

This article highlights the lack of provision of social security for the vast majority of Older people in the Republic of Zambia and the impact this has on the enjoyment of their other rights, such as the right to health and to an adequate standard of living. It suggests questions for us as a People and Nation to include in its List of Issues to the Government of the New Dawn and H.E. President Hakainde Hichilema to explore this issue further in support of the Elderly and programmes on Ageing than continue with giving cash to ghosts by using the Social Cash Transfer that does not benefit the nation .
