I am Deepa from Sri Lanka. I am a Medical Epidemiologist working at the Epidemiology Unit, Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka since 2008 to date. I am graduated (M.B.B.S.) from the Faculty of Medicine Colombo, and obtained post graduate degrees (MSc, MD in Community Medicine) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine,University of Colombo Sri Lanka in 2009,  with final training experience in University of Melbourne, Australia. 

Currently,  the National focal point for Polio Eradication Programme, Measles, Rubella and CRS Elimination Programme and new vaccine introduction in the country involved in HPV vaccine introduction in 2017. Also responsible in Policy decisions, implementation,  monitoring and evaluation of the National Immunization Programme in the country.
