Bio of Sun Weiwei
SUN WEIWEI is an artist and researcher dedicates herself to intermedia, interdisciplinary and interventionist art activities and academic subjects.
She received a Bachelor's Degree in Drama, Movie&TV, Literature at Communication University Of China, and a Master's Degree in Experimental Film/Video at China Central Academy Of Fine Arts and CalArts (U.S.) cooperation Master program. Since 2015 she started a PhD research at Research center S:PAM (Studies in Performing Arts & Media), Dep. of Art Studies of Ghent University (Belgium), funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC). She also holds a position of lecturer at Hubei Institute Of Fine Arts (Wuhan, China).
