  Titus Kipchirchir Kolongei a Health Information Officer by profession with over 20 years experience gained in Goverment and UN agencies engaged as a Data Manager in Routine Immunization and in surveillance for Vaccine Preventable Disease(VPDs). Also engaged as a M&E Consultant for Maternal Child Health,Nutrition Emergency Health Programs.Involved in the Health System strenghthening through the adoption of District Health Information System (DHIS2). Mr Kolongei has keen interest in research and publication and contributed to the documentation of Kenya towards polio free certification status. Contributed to a paper on forewarning on polio in the horn of Africa journal of infectious Diseases (2013). Mr Kolongei as a Data Manager with Ministry of Health VPD surveillance program initated a novel idea of using the google sheets to upload and share reports across all the 47 counties in Kenya during the Polio and Measles supplemental Immunization activities(2012-2014) .This enabled the sharing of campaign results in real time basis a system still in use to date. Mr Kolongei was fully invloved in the creation of data collection tools for routine and supplemental immunization activities. Particapted in the review and finalization of the new National Immunization Policy. Mr Kolongei is adept at monitoring and evalution of EPI, Maternal Child Health, Disease Surveillance, HIV/AIDs TB, Nutrition and Emergency program. Provided support to MOH South Sudan in the Data entry and analyisis of the 2017 EPI coverage survey using guide of the WHO 2015 Immunization survey guide. Worked on aspects of Data quality for the routine immunization and surveillance data using data quality audits and data self assesement. Currently engaged(2018) in finalizing the analyisis and report writing for the EPI survey 2017 for MOH South Sudan supported by UNICEF&WHO. Titus Kolongei has a Bachelors degree in Health Information Management and currently finalizing a thesis for MPH majoring in Monitoring and Evaluation.
