A program that includes interaction and group discussion is “ProBoards”.  ProBoards is an online discussion forum that is totally and completely free to use.  It allows you to create your forum name, a username, and a password.  Some benefits I have found while researching are:

• It is completely free
• There is no size limit. You can create as many forums and posts that you like.
• It allows you to customize it to fit your needs.
• There is a mobile app for you to use at any time of the day.
• It includes YouTube embedding and allows you upload files directly into the forum.
• It is remotely hosted which means you don’t have download and install anything to use it.

Some possible limitations include:

• It is open to everyone that has an account.  This means there isn’t a whole lot of privacy.
• A more advanced software is offered for $9.99 a month if you choose.  This is mainly used for businesses to create their own brand and website.

While I have never used ProBroards, I do like the overall idea of it.  I love that I could use if for free and that I am able to customize it any way I like.  I see way more benefits than I do drawbacks, and it would be an easy way to create a quick discussion on a certain topic.
