Dr. Stephanie Anderson is a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn Design) and an instructor at the University of British Columbia (Faculty of Education). She holds a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Pedagogy (The University of British Columbia) and a B.Ed. and B.A. (Honours) in History and French (Queen's University). She is currenlty working on a SSHRC funded research project that examines the construction and communication of Canadian national identity in relationship to Canadian art forms. Her research and teaching interest include history education, museum studies, critical heritage studies, art history and public history. Dr. Anderson has recently published in Musuem Management and Curatorship and her article for the Canadian Journal of Education was chosen as the journal's top 2017 English-language article.
