Mitch Goodwin has lectured across a variety of fields including Digital Film, Interactive Media, Contemporary Art and New Media Theory. He has taught at the Griffith University Film School in Brisbane and the Birmingham City University in the UK where he directed MSc programs in Interactive Media and Digital Television Production as well as authoring a new undergraduate program in Film Production Technology. He is currently the coordinator of the Bachelor of New Media Arts program at James Cook University in Queensland Australia. As a practitioner Mitch has won numerous awards for his digital art and film productions and his work has toured the major Australian arts and electronic festivals as well as being featured on radio, print and television. His current research interests are in the aesthetics of digital media production and the manifestations of network culture in mainstream media.
