I'm a Birmingham, AL native but earned my J.D. from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I spent many years. I have been an educator since 2004, working in K-12 for three yeras before transitioning to Higher Ed eleven years ago. My primary roles have been management of credit-bearing programs for working adults, from degree completion to certificates and master's degrees. Much of my responsiblity over the last eight years or so has related to online program management, developing fully online degrees or converting F2F classses to online or hybrid delivery. I completed one year of doctoral work at Vanderbilt some years ago but couldn't manage the travel with my schedule. Happy to be in the LDL program now and excited to learn how I can facilitate better learning experiences for my students. A related interest is how better design can facilitate more meaningful assessment.
