  Hernando currently is a PhD student in Spanish Literature. His focus area is drama and performance. He is undertaking a Designated Emphasis in Performance Studies. His experience in teaching developed during his five years of instruction at the pre-college level in Kentucky. He is also a Spanish instructor at UC Davis.
