  I am a Senior Lector at Yale University where I have been teaching a variety of courses in Russian language and literature. My research interests focus on Russian literature and culture, technology and language learning, heritage language studies and translation studies. I have presented at numerous international conferences and published articles in the professional journals. I am the author of Poetry Reader for Russian Learners (Yale University Press, 2015) and "The Meek One," an annotated reader for the intermediate students of Russian (Yale University Press, 2012). Both volumes have been nominated for the Best Contribution to Language Pedagody Award by American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL). My book "Dostoevsky as a Translator of Balzac" is forthcoming from Academic Studies Press.
