Currently working on a range of humanitarian training and learning projects within CARE and with its partners... in all of the different areas. 

I am kind of a sceptic with regard to online learning - I've used webex for having open discussions, but haven't seen e-learning courses that I've liked enough to make me think that was a better place to focus (very limited) time and resources than face-to-face learning. Even with all the costs of bringing people together it's still easier to get a sense of how well people are understanding, and easier to follow-up with individuals to get a sense of how they apply skills and the impact from doing that. 

But, you've got to have an open mind, don't you? Happy to see what Scholar can offer to get more quality interactions for distributed groups.
