Hello everyone!

This is my first course for the Learning Design and Leadership Program. I have aspired to participate in an EdD program for years, and am very eager to further my education and learn more about this innovative and ever-evolving field. I am looking forward to collaborating with everyone :-).

I am currently starting my 10th year in education, and my 5th year working as a TESOL instructor at a vocational college in the United Arab Emirates. Previously, I was a TESOL coordinator for a school district, working with K-12 students. In each year that passes, it has become increasingly clear that the connection between technology and education is not only inevitable, but can work in the favor of both students and educators. I am excited to learn about the various ways that this relationship can be explored and improved upon to attain academic growth and success.
