The Critical Economic Literacy journey 9 Sept 2023

This week i had the privilege to learn from Andreotti and I greatly appreciate the way she has delineated Soft versus Critical Global Citizenship Education. Her comparative table was really helpful, and I realize i do like to organize knowledge in such a form too - to show relationships seem to matter more to me than stand alone knowledge.

I have also created this infographic to recruit teachers for the CEL Teacher Leasrning Community (TLC) course (the research project) with a sign up date marked for the 23rd Oct. I am grateful for the support I have gotten so far from school to run and explore this with teachers.

It has certainly been a community effort, I am grateful too for Rodrigo Abrantes da Silva for checking in on my progress and being such an immense help with all things CG Scholar. Next update I hope to share an introductory video I am making with LeeAnne Lavender about the course - using a multimodal approach to helping teachers understand what CEL TLC is about and hopefully some would join even though the commitment of 4-5 hours a week is high.
