I am Akinola Fatiregun, a community health physician, engaged as a National Professional Officer-Surveillance with the polio programme in the WCO, Nigeria and also the WHO State Coordinator, coordinating administrative and technical activities  including routine immunization, supplementary immunization activities and AFP, VPDs surveillance and IDSR for the WHO in Ondo State, one of the 36 States in Nigeria. I have worked in these capacities with the WHO since the year 2003, having served in two States; first in Osun State between 2003 and 2014 and currently in Ondo State since July 2014.
