@Kathryn Mc lachlan,@Iqbal Barkat, Hi Kathryn and Iqbal, I'm Alison, I'm also from Sydney Australia. Your presentation and this project are remarkable. The commitment to community from both yourselves as film makers/project coordinators and from the Salvos is inspiring. Your point about universities struggling to connect with their communities is troubling. I'm from the world of theatre and performance and what we might call 'community engaged performance' is frankly often perceived as 'less than' in comparison to professional work. I think it is clear that this disparity between the two is no longer acceptable or necessary and I hope that current world events might highlight this. The care that you have taken & the attention to detail is inspiring and the outcome is excellent by any any standard. I hope we can cross paths in Sydney one day. Thank you.
