BPESA National Virtual Skills Forum’s Updates
Introducing the Skills Forum
Comment Below: What would you like to get out of the skills forum? What are the skills needs - for your enterprise, industry and South Africa? (... and please respond to others in this discussion.)
Make an Update: Share an example of a skills initiative, in your own working environment or another exemplary initiative in South Africa or beyond. To make your post, go the the menu behind the community name (above the orange BPSA logo), and select "Updates". As well as writing, do include images, links, documents, videos (either uploaded or embedded external media such as YouTube videos). As other people's posts come in, look at them and comment on them.
How do you assess different learning methodologies?
Yes, exactly!
So you would use metrics like engagement and completion?
Good question Julia. Two responses: 1) get better results in old-style tests; 2) with big data and learning analytics, the decline of tests!
Thank you Professor Cope for setting up this interactive learning community to make use of for this BPESA Virtual Skills Forum.
As a member of the BPESA Skills Team, I would love to learn about what innovation solutions organisations are deploying in the L&D space, how is technology enabled better connected learning experiences and what are some of the challenges faced with the adoption of technology for learning processes in the workplace.
