Common Ground Research Networks and the International Conference on Learning will be hosting a closing reception at Café 1951, Senior Common Room, Hong Kong University. This will be held directly following the last parallel session of the third day, Friday, 10 July 2026. Join other conference delegates and plenary speakers for a closing reception while enjoying drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to converse.

In this itinerary, we will visit the vibrant West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD)—Hong Kong’s world-class hub for arts, culture, and stunning harbour views.

The tour begins with a wander through the lively public spaces around the M+ Museum and the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Guests may explore the free, open areas of both museums, and those interested in visiting special exhibitions are encouraged to secure tickets in advance.

Next, we will take a stroll through the beautiful Art Park, a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. There, you can enjoy the refreshing sea breeze and take in the breathtaking panoramic views along the promenade, ideal for taking photos and enjoying moments of tranquility.

The tour will end at 6:00 p.m., just in time for you to enjoy one of the biggest attractions of WKCD: the stunning sunset over Victoria Harbour, considered one of the best urban viewpoints for watching the sunset in Hong Kong.

Note: Tickets to visit the special galleries at Hong Kong Palace are not included in the price.

From the restaurant: "Ming Pavilion, located at 14/f of the KK Leung Building at the Main Campus showcases a contemporary Chinese restaurant. It features dim sums handmade daily by our Chefs as part of a refined Cantonese menu, with Shanghainese delicacies. These are all to be enjoyed in our spacious dining hall with a quiet ambience. Private dining rooms and multi-purpose function rooms with modern AV facilities are also available to serve our members and their guests".

Talking Circles offer an opportunity to meet other delegate face-to-face, and engage in extended discussion about the issues and concerns they feel are of utmost importance to that segment of the Research Network.
