Brand Birth to Brand Launch…. the Success Story: Design Students Case Study

Abstract

Entrepreneurs who are the founders of business proposal which may be a service or product oriented don’t have clarity about the branding or what is a brand, when it is to defining their brand identity, or message with visual representation. They just think of the business without any clarity of the brand. This paper elaborates that branding isn’t about looking good, it’s about making an impact to the stakeholders. It also describes how a brand identity builds a strong, recognizable presence, its personality which reflects values and visions -and ensures consumers to instantly understand what the brand stands for. It creates an emotional connection with the end uses to make them loyal fans. When a manufacturer or an industrialists wants to give birth to a product, the first thing it has to be named and defined its nature and ingredients. When people identify any product by its name it becomes a brand. To make your like love at first sight, then your brand should go through a rigorous process in applying all the EOD, POD, and typography. So that brand design stands out in the market crowd and is identified. In this paper, the process how you apply the above said EOD, POD and typography is considered for students to learn and practice design theories to articulate their creative ideas through brand design projects.
